20th July 1869 envelope to Boston stamped “Via Marseilles” bearing 6c lilac and 12c blue strip of three cancelled by B62 in black with 1/8 and 1 mss rate marks in red ink, London Paid 6th September 2 Cents accountancy mark, despatch c.d.s. at back. With pencil date of July 10th - other covers from this correspondence suggest this cover originated in Manila.
